23 अक्टूबर 2026 को C-DOT ने IIT (BHU), Varanasi के साथ MoU कर अपना छठा Centre of Excellence स्थापित करने की घोषणा की।

संस्थागत तथ्य
C-DOT Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications का premier telecom R&D centre है। CoE model academia और indigenous product-oriented telecom R&D के बीच bridge बनाने का प्रयास है।
UPSC relevance
6G research केवल faster data rates तक सीमित नहीं; sensing, AI-native network management, ultra-low latency, satellite-terrestrial integration और quantum-safe security जैसे क्षेत्रों का convergence महत्वपूर्ण होगा।
